Wedding Ceremonies

As Christians we believe that God instituted the custom of marriage.  It was part of God's creation.  We read in Genesis 2:24 that "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife and they will become one flesh".  To begin the life-long union of one man to one woman to the exclusion of anyone else.

So if you are thinking about getting married, congratulations!  We can offer you a special place here at All Saint's for your marriage ceremony.

Please speak to Kelly our Parish Administrator on  01634 231736. We look forward to hearing from you!

But first, why not click here for more information on marriage within the Church of England.

Did you know that the Church of England also has it's own website dedicated specifically to your church wedding?

Funerals

We believe that death is not the end of life. "for God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16

We believe that just as God raised his Son Jesus Christ and gave him a new resurrection body, so to he has promised us a new bodily existence. Romans 8:23  "And we eagerly await the Lord Jesus Christ who by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body". Philippians 3:21

And we believe that until the time of our resurrection we will be with Jesus himself. Luke 23:43

If you are looking at this section because you have lost a loved one and are planning a funeral, please accept our sincere condolences at this time.  General information about the funeral service can be found at www.cofe.anglican.org/lifeevents/funerals

If you would like us to help with the funeral simply ask your funeral director.  They will liaise with us and ensure that all the arrangements are as you wish.

You can also contact our Rector Reverend Bonnie Appleton on 01634 - 231071
Email:  bonnie@babusinessconsultancy.co.uk

This will be a time of much sadness and sorrow, but we pray that the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort be with you today.
